STD Bling | Akong London
Trinidad-born and London-based designer Nicole Akong took her first jewellery-making course in 2008, and since then her pieces have attracted the attention of friends, colleagues and strangers alike.
Each piece is meticulously handmade using bright, colorful trims, 24-carat gold and silver plated chains with Swarovski crystals, gold metallic braids, and long silky tassel finishes.
Her Spring/Summer 2012 ‘Imperial’ collection features beautifully embellished stoles and necklaces inspired by the Orient.
Her Black Ostrich Feather Necklace is featured here.
